Belize, dating all the way back a thousand years ago, was a Maya civilization that expanded and flourished over the years. Belize patterns include many colors shaped into each individual stripe. The many patterns you'll see symbolizes the capital city of Belize which is Belmopan which was founded as the national capital city in 1970.

Argentina is a country, the second largest country, in the southern part of South America. Argentinian patterns are unique because they use the colors of the country's flag when lots of places use something different. Their patterns go onto many different things like their clothing such as ponchos. People wear their ponchos out to symbolize the pride they have for their country.

Each group had its own distinct style of textile production. Today, indigenous textile production in Guatemala is thriving, with many communities preserving traditional techniques and designs while also innovating and creating new styles.
