A traditional dress that many Indian women wear is called a sari. The designs on a sari are rich with a multitude of colors and fabrics. South Korea is a part of the Republic of Korea in East Asia. South Korea is known for its bright green countryside, night lights, and their cherry blossom trees. While known for their beautiful scenery, the Korean hanboks are just as perfect. Hanboks are formal attire worn by Korean citizens during their birthdays, wedding ceremonies, seollal (Korean new year), and chuseok (thanksgiving). The Caribbean! The Dominican Republic is located in the Caribbean, hence why it’s a popular site for tourists to visit due to the beaches, resorts, and mountains. The DR is the second largest and most diverse country in the Caribbean. The people of the Dr often wear colorful dresses and attire such as the Wob Dwiyet, which is the national symbol of the country. The wob dwiyet is worn to parades, street concerts, and festivals plus more. Everything about the dr is beautiful, from its citizens to the clothing that they wear. Matsuri is the Japanese word for festival, which describes the Japanese scenery best! One of the most important holidays in Japan is the ‘shogatsu’ which translates to new years celebrations. Many Japanese individuals take the time to showcase their culture by wearing kimonos. Although kimonos are seen as formal attire, there are people in Japan that wear kimonos as a casual clothing piece! Japan is a wonderful culture that all should indulge in.
